This June, Las Huellas was proud to sponsor a summer camp in the Rio Grande Valley at Big Bend Ranch, helping foster a connection with nature for children in our community.
We hope that every camper had an awesome time during Las Huellas week at Big Bend Ranch, and we want to recognize the Big Bend Ranch camp for its work supporting youngsters in South Texas.
At the top of the page, you can see a picture of this Las Huellas Week’s great group of campers! Thanks again for letting us be a part of your summer!
About Big Bend Ranch
Big Bend Ranch is a non-profit camp with a focus on strengthening faith and fighting for the fatherless. During the Ranch’s awesome summer camps, camp counselors help kids get outdoors and off their devices, with a dedication to making each camp special for every camper.
During Las Huellas week, kids got to spend their days playing and learning, with special challenges and opportunities to earn points. At the Ranch, campers get to interact with animals and learn about nature, with time spent making friends and having fun in a safe and caring environment.
This isn’t the first time Las Huellas and Big Bend Ranch have partnered up to support South Texas: the Ranch is also home to some of the native turkeys Las Huellas has helped reintroduce into the Rio Grande Valley!
Join Las Huellas to Support Nature Appreciation in South Texas
Sponsoring inspiring and outdoors-focused events like camp at Big Bend Ranch is one of the ways Las Huellas works to foster nature appreciation and conservation in South Texas. In addition to events like these, we also provide funding for conservation education through grants and scholarships, as well as an endowment fund.
If you want to support what we do here at Las Huellas, you can spread the word about our conservation grants and scholarships, or provide direct assistance through a partnership or donation. We would also be happy to see you at one of our annual events.
